The Treasurer is also the Ex-Officio County Collector. There were approximately 26,000 Fulton County tax bills mailed for this year’s 2012 levy payable in 2013. The extension total is $37.5 million dollars. Distributions will be made to all funds of the 102 county taxing bodies. Direct deposit distributions are made every 30 days from the first due date as directed by State Statute.
Your Fulton County tax bill has payment stubs for both payments. If you do not receive your bill, contact the Treasurer’s office. Failure to receive a tax bill does not excuse you from your tax obligation.
The total Dept. of Revenue assessed value for Fulton County is $494,446,566. The net taxable value of $417,232,691 includes exemptions of $77,213,875. TIF Increment value of $10,515,246 is deducted before taxes are extended. Tax bill extension amount of $36,766,600.96 plus Railroad tax bills of $708,232.94 results in a total Fulton County real estate tax bill extension of $37,474,833.90.
