Mission & Duties: The purpose of the Fulton County Board Office shall be to assist the County Board/Administration Office in preparing all meeting agendas, taking and typing committee and board meeting minutes, and preparing packets containing Appointments, Claims, Reports, and Resolutions for the County Board members. A variety of other special projects are completed by the staff.
Other responsibilities of the Fulton County Board Office is to correspond with the Liquor Control Commissioner to receive information and grant liquor licenses for the County and correspond with the P&L committee regarding Pyrotechnic Permits.
It is very important for the County Board Office to establish effective working relationships with County personnel, elected officials, and the general public. The County Board Office and its employees strive to have excellent oral communication and writing skills, as well as respect for confidentiality and discretion.
