Mission And Duties

Justin Jochums, Fulton County State’s Attorney, has the statutory duty to serve the community’s need for public safety and welfare by vigorously and justly prosecuting juvenile and adult criminal offenders in Fulton County; to provide for the welfare of children by adjudicating cases of neglected, dependent, or abused minors; to provide assistance to victims regarding the criminal justice process by treating them with respect and educating them on becoming effective participants in the process; and to serve the tax payers’ interest in county government by initiating and defending actions on behalf of Fulton County government and officers and providing legal counsel to county departments.
