Required Information to obtain a “Commercial Solar Energy Facility CONSTRUCTION Permit”

1. Building Permit Application & Proof of Payment
2. Notice to Proceed
3. Copy of Approved/Granted Conditional Use Permit (Fulton County Land Records)
4. Road Use Agreement with Fulton County Highway Engineer (Completed & Final)
5. Decommissioning Agreement (Approved by Fulton County Board)
6. Soil & Geotechnical Boring Reports (Submitted to the County Engineer)
7. Fulton County Soil & Water Conservation Acknowledgment
8. Electrical, Structural, & Civil Engineering Designs
9. Emergency Response Plan & Standard Operating Procedures (Acknowledgment & Agreement/Acceptance from Fulton County 911 Coordinator)
10. Certificate of Insurance as required under item #1 of the “Liability Insurance and Indemnification” Section of the Commercial Solar Facility Ordinance.

Commercial Solar Energy Facility Construction Permits are issued by the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA), NOT the Fulton County Zoning Enforcement Officer.
