If you are a classic car lover, or have a thing for beautifully detailed motorcycles, you need to plan to be in Canton on the Friday before Father’s Day in June for the Annual Canton Cruise In, sponsored by the Canton Area Chamber of Commerce. Each year, hundreds of vehicles—from classics, to antiques, to muscle cars—fill the entire historic downtown, parking in every available space within a one block radius. Stroll through the streets while you admire the craftsmanship and detail that has gone into restoring these cars. If you’re hungry, grab a pork chop sandwich or a corn dog from an array of food vendors, while you sip on a lemonade shakeup and groove to classic music like the Beach Boys. The kids will love the inflatable rides, and the balloon artist in the Gazebo.
