Welcome to Fulton County!  Known as Spoon River Country to many, Fulton County is uniquely beautiful with a wide variety of events and assets that make life both interesting and fulfilling; from the annual Spoon River Scenic Drive Festival, which brings thousands of people to our communities, to the emerging Emiquon Preserve which some say will be second only to the Florida Everglades.  If you are a hunter or fisherman you will discover that Fulton County is a preferred destination.

Look around and you will find events like Canton’s Cruise In and Bike Show, the County Fair in Lewistown, and the Fulton County Playhouse in Bryant.  If you are a history buff, there’s Dickson Mounds State Museum which tells the story of the ancient Native American Indians that inhabited the Illinois River Valley.  Spend some time, enjoy your visit, and come back soon!
