Duties:

This office is responsible for issuance of zoning permits, ensuring compliance with the zoning ordinance following completion of construction, public hearings before the zoning board of appeals regarding variances, conditional use permits, and special home occupation permits, flood plain development and management, zoning and flood plain certification letters,  creation of new maps using GIS software to record spatial data about Fulton County, management of public meetings and projects as they relate to comprehensive planning and community development, and complaint investigations related to violations of the Fulton County Zoning Ordinance.
