One of the key advantages that Fulton County can offer prospective developers is creating partnerships between Spoon River College and Spoon River Partnership for Economic Development to recruit, screen, and train a viable workforce tailored to the skill-set you need for your business. This process has been implemented with an astounding success rate for COOK Medical, COOK Polymer Technology, and Canton Harvester Inn, and can be customized for your needs.
This includes specialized curriculums, flexible class schedules, and options such as web-based and computer-based training.
SRC’s Office of Community Outreach and the Partnership are truly committed to creating partnerships with business and industry and other public agencies. By working cooperatively with business and industry they jointly address many of the workforce and training needs of the region and community.
Services include:
- Meeting with business representatives to determine your needs
- Locating the best possible facilitator for your training
- Designing a curriculum and presentation method best suited to your needs
