Who is the WIRC?

The WIRC (Western Illinois Regional Council) is a regional planning agency providing services to the western Illinois counties of Fulton, Hancock, Henderson, Knox, McDonough and Warren.

For over 40 years, the WIRC has obtained millions of dollars in community development funds for projects including water and sewer system improvements, housing rehabilitation and economic development improvements.
