a. Discussion/Action: Campsite rental status update
Cindy Gallegos reported that there are 8 vacant lots, 4 electric and 4 non-electric.
b. Discussion/Action: Purchase of used golf cart for Superintendent
Member Williams expressed wanting to purchase a used gas golf cart for campground purposes. Member Williams expressed that the campground could use the golf cart to haul garbage and, in the future, get a cart to connect to the back of the golf cart to show people around the campground. Member William expressed that it would be a gas golf cart only, no side by sides because of safety concerns.
c. Discussion: Veterans Passes for Fishing
Cindy Gallegos talked about veterans stopping by the office to get verified for a day fishing pass. Member Williams expressed the veterans will check-in when they come to fish and a possible discount.
d. Discussion: Installation of Playground Equipment
Cindy Gallegos received a $5,900 quote to install the playground equipment. The quote included installing everything that goes with the playground equipment. Installation would take up to 2 weeks.
16. Camp & Rec Superintendent’s Report
Cindy Gallegos reported all campsites that noted they needed a repair of their breaker box have been fixed.
