Fulton County Joint Advisory Health Insurance Committee Minutes

1. Call to Order – The meeting was called to order at 4:34 p.m. by Co-Chair, Jaclyn Webb.
2. Roll Call – Committee members present were: Laura Kessel, Barry Beck, Susan Duquenne, Patrick O’Brian, Mary Ellen Carmack, Beth Hadsall, Jaclyn Webb, Amber McKenzie, and Trudy Williams.
3. Approval of Previous Minutes- Motion was made by Beck, second by Kessel to approve the minutes from the May 12, 2022 meeting. Motion carried by roll call vote (9-0)
4. Additions, Deletions, Corrections to Agenda – Motion made by Kessel, second by Carmack to approve the agenda. Motion carried by roll call vote (9-0).
5. New Business – Pros and cons were discussed for each broker of record interviewed at the May 12, 2022 meeting. Motion made by Kessel, second by O’Brian to recommend American Central Insurance to the Fulton County Board for Agent of Record for a three (3) year term. Motion carried by roll call vote (9-0).
6. Old Business – None
7. Adjournment – Motion by Kessel, second by Carmack to adjourn. Motion carried by roll call vote (9-0). Meeting adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
