3. Call for Additions/Deletions to and Approval of Agenda
Member Thompson moved to approve the agenda with a second from Member Platt. Motion carried by voice vote with all voting ayes.
4. Approval of Previous Minutes – May 2, 2023
Member Heller moved to approve the minutes from May 2, 2023with a second from Member Thompson. Motion carried by voice vote with all voting ayes.

7. Reports from Committee Chairs
a. Community Development, Zoning
Member Kessel reported the committee approved the Avon Dollar General subdivision plat.
The committee approved the Dollar General in Avon to be rezoned from AC to B. The Zoning Board of Appeals needs to approve the rezoning at their meeting on June 28, 2023.
The resolution for Jed Rhoades rezoning from AC to B is complete. The zoning change was approved by the Fulton County Board in May.
Member Platt reported the RFPs for a management company and broker were issued on May 31, 2023.
Chairman Spangler suggested sending a press release to the newspapers and sending a letter to residents’ families about the options the county is exploring for the Clayberg.
c. County Highway
Member Heller reported the Highway building plans are 75% complete and will be presented in July or August. Member Thompson inquired if the RFP has gone out. Member Heller stated no RFP has been sent out.
Highway crews are doing tar and chip to roads.
d. Finance, Insurance, Personnel, Legislative
Member Thompson reported line items have been created for the utilities and water for 201 W. Lincoln, Lewistown, IL.
The Local Tribal Consistency Fund of $50,118.00 will be allocated to the Sheriff for the K9 dog and all expenses associated with the K9.
The IPRF Grant of $38,904.00, will be divided 50% for Highway and 50% for Sheriff.
Two appointments were approved.
e. Property, Public Safety
Member Williams reported the gates for the front of the courthouse will not be done due to the cost.
Member Williams is checking with True Green about mowing the lot at 201 W. Lincoln, Lewistown, IL.
The smoke detectors installation has been completed at the courthouse.
The Sally Port at the Sheriff’s office estimate is still in progress.
The courthouse front doors estimate has not been received.
Chairman Spangler reported 13 liquor licenses were approved by the committee.
