3. Call for Additions/Deletions to and Approval of the Agenda
Member Southwood moved to approve the agenda with a second from Member Sloan. Motion carried by voice vote with all voting ayes.
4. Approval of Previous Minutes – December 5, 2023
Member Southwood moved to approve the minutes from December 5, 2023, with a second from Member Grigsby. Motion carried by voice vote with all voting ayes.

7. Claims/Financial Report
Member Southwood moved to approve the claims with a second from Member Grigsby. Motion carried by roll call vote (4-0)
8. Zoning Office Report
Chair Kessel reported that The Zoning Office received $5,096 in revenue through December 2023. Nine new construction permits were received and seven initial construction inspections. There were nine final construction inspections performed. Eight plat act affidavits have been signed. Approximately 65 consultations occurred over the phone regarding Zoning issues.
COMPLAINTS
Eight violation notices were mailed from this office. Seven have been fully resolved with, one
Partially resolved and under notice to the State’s Attorney.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
There were no public hearings this month. Conditional use permit renewal notices have been
Mailed. Thirty permit holders have responded for follow-up. Delinquent responders will
Receive a second mailing in January. Those that fail to respond will be referred to the State’s
Attorney.
9. New Business
a. Discussion/Action-Reappointment of Sally Clark to Fulton County Zoning Board of Appeals for a one-year term.
Member Southwood Moved to approve reappointment with a second from Member Sloan.
Member Southwood moved to amend the motion to be a 5-year term, with a second from Member Sloan.
Amendment carried by voice vote with all ayes.
Motion carried by voice vote with all ayes.
b. Discussion/Action-Reappointment of Cathy Eathington to the Fulton County Zoning Board of Appeals for a two-year term.
Member Grigsby Moved to approve reappointment with a second from Member Southwood.
Member Southwood moved to amend the motion to be a 5-year term, with a second from Member Grigsby.
Amendment carried by voice vote with all ayes.
