2. Roll Call
Roll call was taken, quorum was present
3. Call for Additions/Deletions to and Approval of the Agenda
Member Southwood moved to approve the agenda with a second from Member Sloan. Motion carried by voice vote with all voting ayes.
4. Approval of Previous Minutes – July 5, 2023
Member Southwood moved to approve the minutes from July 5, 2023 with a second from Member Widger. Motion carried by voice vote with all voting ayes.

7. Claims/Financial Report
Member Sloan moved to approve the claims with a second from Member Widger. Motion carried by voice vote with all voting ayes.
Member Kessel wanted to approve the claim for her personal reimbursement separately.
Member Widger moved to approve the claims with a second from Member Sloan. Motion carried by voice vote with Member Kessel abstaining to vote.
8. Zoning Office Report
Zoning Officer Emmons submitted a report reflecting deposits made through July 20, 2023, as the report was prepared in advance of Officer Emmons leaving on vacation. The Zoning Office received $3,630.45 in revenue through July 20, 2023. Twelve new construction permits were received and eight initial construction inspections were performed. There were three final construction inspections performed, and five plat act affidavits signed. Approximately 100 consultations occurred over the phone regarding zoning issues.
COMPLAINTS
There were no complaints received this month.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
The Zoning Board of Appeals voted to table the rezoning for the Dollar General in Avon in June. The Zoning Board of Appeals had a special meeting on July 5, 2023 and determined, substantial compliance with the ordinance was completed. The ZBA recommended rezoning the Avon Dollar General from AC to B.

a. Discussion/Action: 200th Anniversary Planning
Member Kessel discussed there is one sponsorship for $2,500.00 with the current sponsorship total of $7,100.00.
There are several in kind donations for the Bicentennial Celebration from the Canton Chamber, and the Fulton County Fair & Racing Association to name a few.
There will be a dunk tank sponsored by the Fulton County Young Leaders committee. A fireworks display at 9:00pm will complete the celebration on September 3, 2023.
