2. Roll Call
Roll call was taken, quorum present
3. Call for Additions/Deletions To and Approval of the Agenda
Member Madson moved to approve the agenda with a second from Member Berry. Motion carried by roll call vote (4-0).
4. Approval of Previous Minutes from March 1, 2022
Member Madson moved to approve the minutes from March 1, 2022 with a second from Member Berry. Motion carried by roll call vote (4-0).

7. Claims
a. Discussion/Action: Claims
Member Madson moved to approve the claims with a second from Member Wilner. Motion carried by roll call vote (4-0).
7. Old Business
a. Discussion/Action: Property Repairs
Member Arnett discussed the Finance Committee approved the use of $575,000.00 of ARPA funds for repairs to the courthouse.
In the coming months the Property Committee will be reviewing projects that need to be done at the courthouse.
Member Arnett stated it is estimated that the remaining ARPA funds will be received in June or July 2022.
b. Discussion/Action: Courthouse Trees
Member Arnett discussed the two bids received for the removal and trimming of trees at the courthouse. The bid from Fulton County Tree service provided proof of insurance and the bid was slightly higher. Fulton County Tree Service will remove two trees and trim 12 trees and all debris will be cleaned up.
Member Berry stated he is not in favor of removing trees. The trimming of 12 trees needs to be done to keep the trees healthy. Member Berry stated if this is not a union job it needs to pay prevailing wages. Member Berry stated the trees at the courthouse were planted by the Boy Scouts.
Member Madson stated the prevailing wage would be in the contract between the county and the tree service company. Member Madson stated the pine tree in question is causing needs in the new air conditioners and this will cause issues in the future.
Member Wilner stated the Fulton County Tree service with the insurance is the best option.
Member Platt discussed the trimming of the trees in front of the courthouse will make the courthouse more visible. Member Platt suggested the pine tree limbs need to be trimmed up high and to keep the tree. Member Arnett is concerned prevailing wage is necessary and she will talk with the States Attorney Jochums regarding a contract and the prevailing wage.
Member Arnett will get clarification of what two trees will be removed from the courthouse.
Member Wilner moved to approve Fulton County Tree Service pending verification of what trees will be removed and trim trees and only trimming the pine tree up high with a second from Member Platt. Motion carried by roll call vote (5-0).
8. New Business
Member Arnett discussed AEP energy and the energy supplier is going to raise the price of electricity per kilowatt hour.

Member Arnett needs a member of the Property committee to give the report to the Fulton County Board.
