3. Call for Additions/Deletions to and Approval of the Agenda
Item 9.b includes a resolution.
Member Southwood moved to approve amended agenda with a second from Member Sloan. Motion carried by voice vote with all ayes.
4. Approval of Previous Minutes – March 5, 2024
Member Southwood moved to approve the minutes from March 5, 2024, with a second from Member Grigsby. Motion carried by voice vote with all voting ayes.
5. Announcements, Communications and Correspondence
Zoning Director Janice Emmons turned in her retirement notice, and will be done working with Fulton County in November.

7. Claims/Financial Report
Member Grigsby moved to approve the claims with a second from Member Southwood. Motion carried by roll call vote (5-0)
8. Zoning Office Report
Zoning Director Emmons reported that The Zoning Office received $8,077.07 in revenue through March 2024, received thirteen permits, and conducted twelve initial inspections and five final construction inspections. There were about 100 consultations and approximately five plat act affidavits signed. The subdivision plat for Bass is pending.

PUBLIC HEARINGS
There was a public hearing held on March 27, 2024 for the purpose of a conditional use permit for a MET tower, approval of a BESS ordinance, and price adjustments for renewable energy.
The ZBA approved the construction and placement of the MET tower near Ipava on Back Road for Tater Creek Wind Farms. This is an approval only for a MET tower. Based on data, they will determine whether development is feasible. If a wind farm proposal is presented, it will require a public hearing and conditional use permit prior to development.
The ZBA also recommended that the BESS Ordinance and renewable energy pricing structure be sent back to the committee for approval and then on to the Board on April 9.

Member Grigsby moved to send to the full Board with a second from Member Southwood. Motion carried by voice vote with all ayes.
b. Discussion/Action-Resolution: Pricing Information for solar and battery storage.
Member Southwood moved to send to the full Board with a second from Member Sloan. Motion carried by voice vote with all ayes.
