Member Steck moved to approve claims with a second from Member Smith. Motion carried by roll call vote (5,0)

Campground Superintendent Cindy Gallegos discussed that the playground equipment that was discussed at last month’s meeting will be finished in a couple days, the swings just need to be added, and it was $1,000 less than the original quote. She reported that the benches are being worked on.
There are concerns about a dog that has shown aggression that will need to be removed from the campground, and Animal Control is being contacted to handle the situation. There are also concerns of how stolen property will be recovered now that the alleged thief has been arrested.
Member Williams reported DNR was at the campground to restock and check over the lakes. Cindy also reported that the state inspector came out and there were no complaints, only concerns about the tenants that have not been keeping up on mowing.
Member Williams asked if the campground would hold fireworks again this year for the 4th of July and if they decide to, the committee will clear the fireworks with Sheriff Webb. Buckheart Fire Department will also be made aware if fireworks are going to be held.
Member Williams also expressed the A/C unit went out and he got an estimate from Spoon River Mechanical, and it was $5,120 with a 10-year warranty. The other option is for Tim Gallegos, who is licensed in HVAC, buy a unit from Spoon River Mechanical or another reputable place and install the unit himself, his quote is $4,700. All options for a new A/C unit are being discussed.

Cindy Gallegos reported there are two electric lots that are vacant and two non-electric lots vacant. The park is full, from the original list that she received when she started.
