1. Roll Call
Roll call was taken, quorum present
2. Call for Additions/Deletions To and Approval of the Agenda
Member Bohler moved to approve the agenda with a second from Member Kumer. Motion carried by roll call vote (5-0).
3. Approval of Previous Minutes – October 11, 2022
Member Bohler moved to approve the October 11, 2022 minutes with a second from Member Medus. Motion carried by roll call vote (5-0).
4. Announcements, Communications and Correspondence
Sheriff Standard thanked the committee for their support during his 16 years in law enforcement. Sheriff Standard is looking forward to his retirement and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

7. Declaration of Surplus Property
a. Animal Control Vehicle
Sheriff Standard discussed the 2014 truck for Animal Control will be sold.
The new Animal Control truck took 1 ½ years to be received and has been fitted with the necessary equipment.

Sheriff Standard reported the total Sheriff claims were $17,165.14. Member Bohler moved to approve the claims with a second from Member Medus. Motion carried by roll call vote (6-0).
b. Jail
Sheriff Standard reported the total Jail claims were $28,325.14. Member Bohler moved to approve the claims with a second from Member Medus. Motion carried by roll call vote (6-0).
c. Animal Control
Sheriff Standard reported the total Animal Control claims were $3,922.94. Member Bohler moved to approve the claims with a second from Member Kumer. Motion carried by roll call vote (6-0).

Director Helle reported the total ESDA claims were $426.30. Member Bohler moved to approve the claims with a second from Member Medus. Motion carried by roll call vote (6-0).

a. Campground Claims
Superintendent Young reported the first Campground claims were $15,884.69. Member Bohler moved to approve the claims with a second from Member Medus. Motion carried by roll call vote (7-0).
Superintendent Young reported the second Campground claims were $3,397.99. Member Bohler moved to approve the claims with a second from Member Medus. Motion carried by roll call vote
(7-0).
Superintendent Young reported the third Campground claims were $10,149.47. Member Bohler moved to approve the claims with a second from Member Medus. Motion carried by roll call vote (7-0).

15. Fulton County Camping and Rec
a. Superintendent’s Report
Superintendent Young reported the campground playground equipment has been issued a freight number and a flash drive with the information on the new equipment was received. The playground equipment has not been delivered.
The water, shower house and dump station are closed for the season and the power will remain on.
The tree work wrapped up for the season with over 45 trees removed from sites and across the campground and the clearing of the pin oaks.
Dr. Holly and her students completed another sampling of areas of the campground for ticks. Only two deer ticks were found this visit. Lone star tick larva is being collected.
The campground contracts were mailed out for the 2023 campground season.
Mrs. Beston and her golf carters raised $110.00 toward the campground 2023 plans to add a gaga ball pit. Thank you to the Benson’s and all who participated in the fund raiser.
The campground waiting list is 43, with seven electric sites and three non-electric sites open to the public. In October, the campground filled the last campsite.
Work on the new public access area on the Little Sister Loop is ongoing.
Thank you to Zoning Director, Janice Emmons, for the GIS mapping work for the campground to started planning to add pollinator gardens.
Initial contact has been made with developers to evaluate the campground for solar development.
The campground will be closed from December 16, 2022 and reopening on January 4, 2023.

Member Kumer wished Sheriff Standard a happy retirement and thanked the sheriff for his service to Fulton County.
Member Madson inquired with Superintendent Young about Mr. Kemper and if he will be back at the campground in 2023.
Member Madson discussed the Kemper’s are a good family and with the stroke and health issue the campground gives Mr. Kemper time outdoors.
Superintendent Young stated Mr. Kemper will not be returning to the campground. A complaint was filed and an item was taken without permission.
Young stated if Member Madson would like to see the report Member Madson can come to the Campground or see the States Attorney.
