2. Roll Call
Roll call was taken, quorum was present
3. Call for Additions/Deletions to and Approval of the Agenda
Member Sloan moved to approve the agenda with a second from Member Widger. Motion carried by
voice vote with all voting ayes.
4. Approval of Previous Minutes – August 1, 2023
Member Sloan moved to approve the minutes from August 1, 2023 with a second from Member
Widger. Motion carried by voice vote with all voting ayes.

7. Claims/Financial Report
Member Widger moved to approve the claims with a second from Member Sloan. Motion carried by
voice vote with all voting ayes.
8. Zoning Office Report
Zoning Officer Emmons submitted a report reflecting deposits made through August 30, 2023, as the
report was prepared in advance of Officer Emmons leaving for vacation. The Zoning Office received
$2,504.50 in revenue through August 30, 2023. Fifteen new construction permits were received and
performed, and fourteen initial construction inspections performed. There were six final construction
inspections completed. Twenty plat act affidavits have been signed. Approximately 80 consultations
occurred over the phone regarding zoning issues.
COMPLAINTS
A violation letter was mailed to Chad Herman regarding Giant Goose Ranch. Cabins and structures
have been and are being constructed without proper permitting.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
There are no public hearings scheduled at this time.

a. Discussion/Action: 200th Anniversary Debrief
Member Kessel discussed the 200th bicentennial event that occurred on September 3, 2023. The
event was a lot of work and Member Kessel thanked everyone who worked the event.
South Fulton Solar donated the fireworks display at the bicentennial event. The fireworks were
specular!!
